Domaine : "Located in the heart of the Mâcon wine region, Domaine Saint Germain is situated at an altitude of 450 m, on a hilltop overlooking the Saône plain, close to Azé.

This village is known for its prehistoric caves.

The domaine was created in 1921, but was only dedicated exclusively to viticulture from 1972.

Jean-Pierre MARILLIER, who represents the 3rd generation to run the Domaine, handed over to his son, Mickaël, in 1991.
Today, Mickaël works 46 hectares of vines, along with his wife, Marie-Pierre, and Laurent Chardigny, who became their partner in 2008 to handle vinification.

The vineyards, most of which used to be part of the estate of the Abbey of Cluny, are managed according to the principles of sustainable viticulture, with grass cover in the parcels.

The diversity of the terroir allows the Domaine to grow the four Burgundy grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Aligoté and Gamay.”
